round 2 by buffalohero

Format: Commander

Commander: Ovika, Enigma Goliath

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger deck built around Ovika, Enigma Goliath. The primary plan is to cast Ovika and then chain high-cost noncreature spells, each generating a swarm of hasty Phyrexian Goblin tokens that can attack or be tapped for convoke. Damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation and City on Fire convert these tokens and pings (Impact Tremors, General Kreat, the Boltbringer) into lethal reach, while convoke spells (Transcendent Message, Shatter the Source) let the token army fuel even bigger plays. The deck can also win by channeling huge mana from Mana Geyser into Crackle with Power after setting up a damage-tripler.
