Deck overview

Eluge, the Shoreless Sea is a mono-blue spells-matter control deck that uses flood counters to turn lands into Islands, making the first instant or sorcery each turn nearly free. The primary plan is to land Eluge, attack to stack flood counters, and chain Time Warp, Temporal Manipulation, and Time Stretch through Archaeomancer and Mystic Sanctuary recursion into a hard turn lock. Secondary wins come from Talrand, Murmuring Mystic, Shark Typhoon, and Metallurgic Summonings tokens, plus Hullbreaker Horror as a one-sided bounce lock. The deck is dense with counterspells and instant-speed bounce, so it keeps the stack and creature boards clean, but it can be slow and commander-reliant if Eluge is repeatedly answered.
