Format: Commander

Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Nekusar, the Mindrazer commands a wheels and forced-draw burn strategy that turns every opponent draw into direct damage. The primary plan revolves around establishing Nekusar or damage-punishing permanents like Underworld Dreams and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, then resolving wheel spells like Windfall, Whispering Madness, and Jace's Archivist to rapidly drain life totals. The fastest lethal route grants Nekusar infect through Phyresis, Tainted Strike, Glistening Oil, or Grafted Exoskeleton, killing all opponents with ten poison counters across two wheel rotations. Secondary win lines include an infinite damage loop between Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Niv-Mizzet, Visionary, or alternative win conditions with Laboratory Maniac and Triskaidekaphile.
