Deck overview

This four-color deck leverages Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder as a color identity foundation to run an upkeep-trigger engine centered around Obeka, Splitter of Seconds, Paradox Haze, and Sphinx of the Second Sun. The deck accelerates into play during early turns with mana rocks and bounce lands before deploying powerful enchantments from the Monarch Court cycle, alongside standalone threats like Plargg and Nassari and Dominus of Fealty. Once Obeka deals combat damage or an extra beginning phase begins, upkeep triggers multiply rapidly. This generates explosive card advantage, strips opponents of cards in hand via Court of Ambition, and drains life totals across the table with Court of Embereth. Supported by premium defensive spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, the deck steadily snowballs board advantages into an inevitable mid-game victory.
