Deck overview

This Orzhov (WB) deck blends a stax-and-recursion shell with a compact infinite-death-loop combo, helmed by Squall, SeeD Mercenary. The primary plan is to deploy disruptive hatebears (Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Drannith Magistrate, Rule of Law effects) early, slowing opponents while the pilot assembles a two-card infinite loop using Leonin Relic-Warder + an Animate Dead-style aura, with Susurian Voidborn or The Meathook Massacre as the drain payoff. Squall provides a powerful secondary value engine: attacking alone gives him double strike, and when he connects he recurs any cheap permanent from the graveyard, feeding back into the stax plan. Backed by a deep tutor suite, explosive fast mana (Dark Ritual, Mana Vault, Chrome Mox), and premium interaction, the deck can pivot between a prison lock, a reanimator beatdown, or a deterministic combo finish.
