Big Booties by Fredrikie

Format: Commander

Commander: Arcades, the Strategist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Bant defender tribal build helmed by Arcades, the Strategist. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of high-toughness walls, use Arcades to draw cards on each entry, then convert that toughness into lethal combat damage via Arcades or backup enablers like High Alert, Assault Formation, and Bedrock Tortoise. The strategy is value-driven and incremental rather than combo-oriented: the commander supplies both the attack bypass and the card advantage, while the 99 provides toughness boosts, mana ramp from defender dorks, and a handful of conditional board wipes. Secondary threats like Charix, the Raging Isle (0/17) and Colossus of Akros (10/10, monstrous trample) provide occasional one-shot potential, but the median game is a long, grindy war of attrition that wins through repeated combat over many turns.
