Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius artifact and ability-theft combo list commanded by Rex, Cyber-Hound. The primary game plan revolves around generating energy through early combat and enter-the-battlefield triggers, stocking graveyards with high-utility artifact creatures via self-mill and looting, and using Rex's activated ability to exile those creatures with brain counters. By inheriting the activated abilities of exiled cards, Rex becomes a modular engine that can generate infinite mana using Palladium Myr and Pili-Pala, subsequently converting that mana into lethal table-wide pings through Walking Ballista. A dense tutor suite featuring Fabricate, Reshape, and Enlightened Tutor provides reliable access to critical combo pieces, while layered protection from cards like Mother of Runes, Lightning Greaves, and Leonin Abunas shields key permanents. Supported by potent Azorius interaction and flexible board wipes, the deck combines consistent value generation with a compact same-turn combo finish.
