Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai tempo spellslinger build commanded by Massimo, the Magician. It uses efficient 1-mana cantrips and discard spells on turns 1 and 2 to place key spells in the graveyard. Massimo enters on turn 3, exiling a 1-mana instant or sorcery to imprint a repeatable combat damage trigger. When Massimo or other creatures connect with an opponent, they cast free copies of those exiled spells, triggering cast-from-exile and magecraft payoffs such as Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival, Vega, the Watcher, and Monastery Mentor. The deck converts these triggers into growing token armies, steady card flow, and explosive burn. It wins by overwhelming opponents through evasive combat damage, prowess pumps, and finishers like Candlekeep Inspiration and Great Train Heist, backed by efficient spot interaction and defensive phasing spells.
