Deck overview

This deck is an Esper combo-control deck centered on Queza, Augur of Agonies, translating card advantage directly into life drain and life gain. The game plan focuses on deploying early artifact ramp on Turn 2, casting Queza on Turn 3, and sticking compounding draw engines like Rhystic Study, Necrodominance, and Mystic Remora on Turn 4. The deck controls the board using efficient spot removal, sweepers like Supreme Verdict and Cyclonic Rift, and defensive enchantments like Ghostly Prison. On Turn 6, it closes the game through deterministic two-card loops with Drogskol Reaver or Lich's Mastery, which trigger repeated card draws and drain triggers until all opponents are eliminated. In situations where Queza is removed, secondary engines like Psychosis Crawler, Aetherflux Reservoir, and Laboratory Maniac provide robust alternative routes to victory.
