Deck overview

Led by Ravos, Soultender and Tana, the Bloodsower, this 4-color deck executes a go-wide Saproling swarm strategy backed by aristocrat drain effects. The deck focuses on accelerating into early token engines on Turns 1 to 3, using Tana's combat damage, Chatterfang, Squirrel General, and Ghave, Guru of Spores to flood the battlefield with creature tokens. It converts this token volume into resource velocity through engines like Cryptolith Rite, Baylen, the Haymaker, and Skullclamp. Once a wide board of 8 to 10 creatures is established, the deck transitions into a lethal must-answer state on Turn 6 using explosive combat finishers such as Jetmir, Nexus of Revels and Beastmaster Ascension, or aristocrat burn through Mirkwood Bats and Warleader's Call. While vulnerable to exile-based board wipes and lacking blue stack interaction, the deck maintains resilience through Ravos's recurring graveyard retrieval, death-drain deterrence, and protective instants like Heroic Intervention.
