Bello artismash by user4994113

Format: Commander

Commander: Bello, Bard of the Brambles

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Bello, Bard of the Brambles is the engine: during your turn he turns every non-Equipment artifact and non-Aura enchantment with mana value 4+ into an indestructible, hasty 4/4 Elemental that draws on combat damage. This is a Gruul ramp-and-smash deck: accelerate into those high-mana-value permanents, attack with them as 4/4s, then use the card draw to chain damage multipliers. Secondary paths include vehicle-based beatdown (Esika's Chariot, The Regalia, Mole Module) and token/counter synergies (Primeval Bounty, Loading Zone, Threefold Thunderhulk). There is no double-faced or hidden commander; Bello is the only focus. A typical kill stacks double damage, doubled power, or double strike, with Great Train Heist providing the extra combat to finish the table.
