Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a self-mill mana-hub commander: the deck sends Elf mana engines to the graveyard and then borrows their activated abilities through Thranduil. The primary plan is to assemble infinite mana with Buried Alive + Umbral Mantle, then close with Lathril's ten-Elf drain or a pumped commander. A second axis uses Maskwood Nexus with Wirewood Symbiote to make mana and countless Elf-changeling tokens. There is no double-faced commander; Lathril acts as a hidden finisher in the 99. The commander is not a beatdown threat but the ability repository, so keeping Thranduil on the battlefield is essential to the fastest lines.
