Deck overview

Hope Estheim drives a lifegain-to-mill control deck. You gain life, Hope mills each opponent at your end step, and you win by decking the table while controlling attacks with Propaganda and removal. Secondary wins come from a wide Ally and Soldier board that uses SOLDIER Military Program, Heidegger, Suki and Sokka's Charge for double strike lifelink, and from a single Dark Depths Marit Lage. Hope is the mill engine, not a combo piece. The hidden engine is Aerith Gainsborough and Leonardo, Cutting Edge paired with Agatha's Soul Cauldron and Triskelion, which together form the deck's only assembled combo and its main counter engine.
