Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is led by The War Doctor and Clara Oswald (set to Blue). The strategy revolves around exiling cards and manipulating time counters through mechanics like cascade, suspend, and impulse draw. Each card put into exile places a time counter on The War Doctor. When The War Doctor attacks, it converts those counters into direct burn damage targeting any player or creature. Clara Oswald doubles this output, turning attacks into lethal bursts of damage. The deck backs up this aggressive burn plan with sweeping exile removal such as Farewell and Out of Time, while using utility creatures like Rose Tyler and Kate Stewart as secondary combat threats. Lacking fast tutors and infinite combos, the list operates as a focused, high-synergy combat and burn deck.
