Dragon Trial by user6186920

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This five-color Dragon tribal deck, helmed by The Ur-Dragon, leverages the commander's eminence ability to reduce Dragon spell costs by {1} and its combat trigger to draw cards and deploy permanents for free. The primary game plan is to ramp aggressively, deploy cost-reducers like Urza's Incubator and Dragonspeaker Shaman, then chain high-impact Dragons such as Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient and Terror of the Peaks to overwhelm opponents through combat damage and ETB triggers. The deck includes a compact infinite-combat package using Aggravated Assault with mana-producing Dragons, and a deep recursion suite via Living Death, Rivaz of the Claw, and Haven of the Spirit Dragon to grind through disruption. Winning is achieved either by overwhelming the board with multiple Dragons or by looping extra combat steps for a same-turn kill.
