Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-red big-mana and theft strategy piloted by Etali, Primal Storm. The game plan revolves around deploying 2-CMC and 3-CMC mana acceleration and continuous haste enablers during the early turns to set up a Turn 6 commander deployment. Once Etali, Primal Storm attacks, it generates immediate card velocity by exiling cards from all four libraries and casting nonland spells without paying mana costs. The deck leverages this free spell flow to populate the board with large Eldrazi, cascading beaters, and artifacts. Because it relies heavily on combat damage across multiple turn cycles, the deck is vulnerable to targeted removal and sweepers, requiring aggressive sequencing and well-timed haste pieces to maximize value before opponents can stabilize.
