Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Green +1/+1 counter and Hydra stompy strategy led by Tromell, Seymour's Butler. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns, establishing Tromell on Turn 3, and deploying scalable creatures that enter with bonus counters. Tromell's tap ability repeatedly proliferates these counters, growing modest creatures into massive combat threats. The deck leverages powerhouses like Kalonian Hydra, Primordial Hydra, and Managorger Hydra, which quickly become overwhelming on their own. Once a formidable board presence is established, game-ending spells such as Overwhelming Stampede or evasion pieces like Champion of Lambholt allow you to push through lethal trample and unblockable combat damage across all three opponents by Turn 7. While the deck boasts immense creature scaling, high redundancy, and robust protection against destroy effects via Heroic Intervention and Inspiring Call, it remains vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and fast spell-based combo decks due to a lack of stack interaction.
