Deck overview

This deck leverages The Emperor of Palamecia // The Lord Master of Hell as both an early mana accelerant and a late-game burn finisher. In the opening turns, you deploy low-cost mana rocks and your commander to begin casting impactful 4-CMC noncreature spells like Fact or Fiction, Memory Deluge, and Big Score. Each qualifying spell places a +1/+1 counter on your commander. Upon receiving its third counter on Turn 5, the Emperor transforms into The Lord Master of Hell and attacks immediately, triggering Starfall to deal direct damage to every opponent equal to the number of noncreature, nonland cards in your graveyard. You accelerate this damage clock through wheels like Wheel of Fortune and Windfall, close games with infect via Grafted Exoskeleton, and protect your board using free interaction including Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat. Alternative threats like Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Talrand, Sky Summoner ensure resilient backup pressure.
