yidris cascade by user7523578

Format: Commander

Commander: Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Yidris deck is designed to chain cascade triggers into overwhelming value, using the commander's combat damage to turn each spell from hand into a free spell via cascade. The deck packs numerous cascade creatures, enablers for casting from exile, and recursion to keep the chain going. The primary path is to connect with Yidris, then use the fleeting cascade window to chain into larger spells, generating card advantage, mana, and threats. Hidden commanders like Etali, Primal Conqueror and Maelstrom Wanderer provide additional cascade engines, while Felix Five-Boots doubles on-hit triggers. With multiple pieces like Temur Ascendancy and Xenagos for haste, the deck finishes through combat damage from the legion of hasty threats.
