Deck overview

This is a midrange Abzan Walls/toughness-matters deck helmed by Felothar the Steadfast. The core plan floods the board with high-toughness defenders and Walls, then uses Felothar (or backup enablers) so they assign combat damage equal to toughness and can attack through defender. Ramp comes from classic defender dorks like Overgrown Battlement and Axebane Guardian, while card advantage flows from ETB Walls, Welcoming Vampire, and Felothar's sacrifice outlet. Primary wins are large toughness-based combat swings backed by evasion (Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa, Behind the Scenes, Access Tunnel) and finishers such as Towering Titan and Canopy Gargantuan. Secondary pressure includes life-drain packages (Jaws of Defeat, Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper, Indulging Patrician) and selective wipes that spare low-power Walls. The deck is grindy, resilient on the ground, and leans on the commander as its main damage enabler and card engine.
