Deck overview

This Abzan lands deck uses Thalia and The Gitrog Monster to slow opponents while you build an extra-land engine. Thalia taxes opponents - creatures and nonbasic lands enter tapped - and draws cards when you sacrifice a land or creature on attack. You ramp with Exploration, Azusa, Oracle of Mul Daya and play lands from the graveyard with Crucible of Worlds, Ramunap Excavator, Conduit of Worlds and The Necrobloom. Landfall then floods the board with tokens from Field of the Dead, Scute Swarm, Avenger of Zendikar and Necrobloom. Hidden commanders are The Gitrog Monster (draw on land discard) and Field of the Dead. Secondary wins are Craterhoof/Finale alpha, Ob Nixilis drain, or Armageddon into Splendid Reclamation lock.
