Deck overview

This Boros deck operates as a dedicated combat manipulation and pillowfort engine commanded by Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer and Noble Heritage. The game plan revolves around deploying Noble Heritage early and following up with Baeloth. When Baeloth enters, the Background immediately puts two +1/+1 counters on him, raising his power to 4 and goading all opposing creatures with power 3 or less. Each subsequent upkeep, Baeloth grows larger, expanding his goad threshold to engulf almost every creature on the board while generating a steady stream of Treasure tokens as goaded creatures die in combat. Complementary pieces like Nils, Discipline Enforcer, Windborn Muse, and Authority of the Consuls ensure opponents cannot direct attacks your way, while Death Kiss and Duelist's Heritage accelerate mutual opponent destruction. The deck finishes the last remaining player with a massive commander damage strike or unblockable combat closer.
