Format: Commander

Commander: Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer leads an Azorius pillow-fort control deck that taxes attacks, blanks creatures, and wins through two independent alternate win conditions. The primary plan is to deploy Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and similar tax effects, then resolve Azor's Elocutors and protect it for five upkeeps. The secondary path uses Approach of the Second Sun, often with Mystical Tutor or Personal Tutor and Narset's Reversal to recast it. Gwafa himself is a political tool: he bribes opposing creatures so they cannot attack or block, trading cards for tempo. There is no hidden commander; the deck's engine is the enchantment tax shell, not a second legendary.
