Deck overview

This is a Dimir attrition-control deck built around Toxrill, the Corrosive as both its engine and its win condition. The plan is to survive the early turns with counterspells, spot removal, and card draw, then land Toxrill and let its end-step slime counters shrink or kill opposing creatures. Every enemy creature killed with a slime counter creates a 1/1 Slug token, and those Slugs fuel the deck's draw by being sacrificed to Toxrill, equipped with Skullclamp, or fed to Ashnod's Altar. The most powerful synergy is Maha, Its Feathers Night, which sets opposing creatures' base toughness to 1 and turns Toxrill's end step into a near-total board wipe. Blood Artist converts that mass death into life drain, while Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive and Akroma's Memorial turn the Slug swarm into an unblockable, hasted finishing horde. The deck also has reanimation and top-deck value through Sheoldred, Whispering One, Bolas's Citadel, and One with the Multiverse. It has no compact infinite combo, so it wins through board denial and grind.
