Deck overview

Animar, Soul of Elements is the primary engine and the primary combo piece. The deck ramps with one-mana dorks, casts Animar early, and chains cheap creatures to build its +1/+1 counters until Ancestral Statue can be cast for free. Once the Statue loop starts, it returns itself to hand, making Animar arbitrarily large and triggering Beast Whisperer to draw into a finisher. The deck wins with commander damage from Animar, or Walking Ballista/Terror of the Peaks after the loop. Secondary paths include Hullbreaker Horror with Sol Ring for infinite mana, or Peregrine Drake with Temur Sabertooth. The deck also has a value plan of Eldrazi and Seedborn Muse if the combo is not assembled. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Animar's cost reduction.
