Commander: Captain America, Team Leader

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Hero tribal beatdown deck led by Captain America, Team Leader, built around the density of legendary Hero creatures that share the Marvel/Spider-Verse creature type. The commander acts as a force multiplier: non-commander Heroes enter with vigilance and haste, grow with +1/+1 counters, and feed a snowballing board presence. The deck's primary plan is to deploy a critical mass of Heroes, grow them through counters and anthems, then close the game with pump effects like Akroma's Will, True Conviction, and extra combats from Relentless Assault. Secondary value comes from draw engines tied to Heroes entering or dealing combat damage, plus a handful of flexible interaction pieces. The deck is a fair, combat-oriented midrange strategy that relies on the commander to accelerate the clock.
