Attack Attack (walls) by andisir

Format: Commander

Commander: Thantis, the Warweaver

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Thantis, the Warweaver leads a midrange wall deck that uses forced combat as both defense and setup. The primary plan is to flood the board with high-toughness defender creatures, then use Assault Formation, Bedrock Tortoise, Walking Bulwark, or Warmonger's Chariot to make those walls attack while Thantis forces everyone into them. A secondary burn plan uses Vent Sentinel, Blight Pile, and small defender pingers to grind all opponents. The hidden commander is Assault Formation: the entire attacker-conversion package is built around it, and the deck is severely slowed if it isn't found. There is no double-faced commander; Thantis is single-faced, serving as a growing voltron threat and a combat-tax engine.
