Deck overview

The deck uses Vivi Ornitier as a mana and damage engine for cheap noncreature spells, supported by cost reducers, rituals, magecraft creatures, and card selection. Its clearest table-winning route is the Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity combo. Once both are in play, any instant or sorcery starts a repeatable draw-damage loop that can eliminate all three opponents immediately. The main weakness is access: Mystical Tutor finds spells but not Curiosity, and Gamble can discard the card it finds. The six-mana commander also requires substantial colored mana. The deck has respectable interaction through counters, removal, and bounce, but it does not maintain a proactive lock or reliable protection package. Vivi Ornitier can produce explosive turns after gaining counters, yet that plan is mainly a value and burn engine rather than a dependable standalone table kill.
