Format: Commander

Commander: Gorma, the Gullet

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Gorma, the Gullet commands a fast Golgari aristocrats combo deck centered on infinite persist loops. Gorma places an additional plus-one/plus-one counter on creatures entering the battlefield after a creature dies that turn. This cancels out the minus-one/minus-one counter from persist creatures like Putrid Goblin and Lesser Masticore, allowing them to return infinitely when sacrificed. By combining Gorma or backup enabler Melira, Sylvok Outcast with a free sacrifice outlet such as Viscera Seer or Altar of Dementia, the deck generates infinite death triggers. The primary win condition drains all opponents using Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Bastion of Remembrance, while Altar of Dementia and Blasting Station provide instant lethal mill or damage lines.
