Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tempo and token swarm strategy helmed by Lyra, Tolarian Archangel. The primary objective is to reliably draw three or more cards each turn to trigger Lyra's ability, churning out 3/3 flying Angel tokens. A high density of efficient multi-draw spells such as Brainstorm, Dream Cache, and Thirst for Knowledge pairs with cost reducers like Baral, Chief of Compliance and Archmage of Runes to maintain card velocity. Parallel engines including Alandra, Sky Dreamer and Homunculus Horde expand the aerial army, while Psychosis Crawler converts raw card draw directly into life loss for the entire table. The deck controls the tempo with efficient spot removal and counterspells, closing out games by flying over grounded defenses across two combat cycles.
