Second Breakfast by TheSire

Format: Commander

Commander: Merry, Warden of Isengard and Pippin, Warden of Isengard

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Abzan Food deck pairs Merry and Pippin as an artifact-enter engine and a four-Food pump finisher. Primary plan is to flood the board with Food tokens, turn every artifact enter into a lifelink Soldier, then cash out with Farmer Cotton, Banquet Guests, or Feasting Hobbit. Secondary paths include global drain from Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade, and Marionette Master, plus recursion via Revive the Shire and Trading Post. Peregrin Took acts as a hidden commander by multiplying Food production, while Bilbo, Fellow Conspirator converts food into Treasure for acceleration. The deck is a value-aggro plan with no infinite combo; it wins by repeated hasty attacks and sacrifice-based damage.
