Format: Commander

Commander: Tiamat

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Tiamat dragon-tribal deck whose primary plan is to ramp into an early Tiamat, tutor five different Dragons, then explode into a flying combat kill backed by Atarka's double strike, Klauth's attack mana, and Miirym's duplicate tokens. Secondary paths are Dragon Tempest pings fed by Ancient Gold Dragon tokens and the Call the Spirit Dragons upkeep win. The commander is the tutor and mana sink; once on the battlefield she is also a 7/7 finisher. Nicol Bolas is a flex value card in the 99, not a build-around face. The Ur-Dragon acts as a hidden command-zone-like enabler when present, though the deck has no true hidden commander.
