Format: Commander

Commander: Dr. Madison Li

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Dr. Madison Li helms a Jeskai energy-themed artifact deck that generates and spends energy counters for value. The primary game plan is to deploy cheap artifact creatures and energy producers, then use the commander's activated abilities to pump attackers, draw cards, and recur key artifacts from the graveyard. The deck wins through incremental combat damage, leveraging token swarms (Automated Assembly Line, Phyrexian Ironworks) and pumped artifact creatures. A secondary win condition is Mechanized Production if you can assemble eight artifacts with the same name. The deck is a midrange value engine that aims to out-grind opponents with recursion and card advantage, but it lacks fast combo lines and relies on sustained board presence.
