Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck accelerates into high-power creatures to cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger ahead of curve for just two green mana. The primary strategy opens with one-mana and two-mana dorks like Birds of Paradise and Llanowar Elves, quickly deploying over-statted beaters such as Pugnacious Hammerskull and Steel Leaf Champion. Once total board power exceeds ten, Ghalta hits the battlefield as a massive 12/12 trampling threat as early as Turn 4. The deck converts this overwhelming physical presence into sustained card advantage through engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise. Finishing the table relies on massive combat swings enhanced by Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and haste enablers like Surrak, the Hunt Caller. While vulnerable to mass sweepers and lacking stack interaction, the deck recovers quickly through redundant high-power threats and explosive mana development.
