Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Aristocrats combo-control build centered on Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. The strategy focuses on establishing cheap, repeatable creature token generators such as Bitterblossom, Ophiomancer, and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia to fuel Yawgmoth's activated ability. Yawgmoth acts simultaneously as a card-draw engine and an asymmetric creature board wipe by distributing -1/-1 counters at instant speed. The deck leverages top-tier black tutors to assemble game-ending infinite loops involving Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar or Mikaeus, the Unhallowed paired with blood artist effects like Bastion of Remembrance and Marionette Apprentice. Fast mana rituals and robust reanimation cards ensure rapid recovery and explosive turns.
