Deck overview

This Simic deck pairs Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy with a devastating ocean-themed creature package consisting of Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents. By leveraging Kinnan's passive ability to generate surplus mana from early dorks and rocks, the deck ramps directly into 7 or more mana by turn 3. It uses Kinnan's activated ability to dig for and cheat massive threats like Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Hullbreaker Horror, and Spawning Kraken directly into play at instant speed. Opponents face immense combat pressure alongside asymmetric board clears such as Whelming Wave and Scourge of Fleets that leave the pilot's sea monsters untouched. Additionally, an incidental infinite colorless mana combo with Basalt Monolith enables instant library-draw wins through Thrasios, Triton Hero and Finale of Devastation. The deck balances explosive mana velocity, resilient threats, and high-impact battlecruiser finishes.
