Eowyn by Timtam

Format: Commander

Commander: Éowyn, Shieldmaiden

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Human-tribal go-wide deck built around Eowyn, Shieldmaiden. The central plan is to drop a Human every turn before combat, let Eowyn convert that into two hasty Knight tokens, and then use a dense stack of Human payoffs-Theoden, King of Rohan, Erkenbrand, Lord of Westfold, Beregond of the Guard, Goldnight Commander, and Shared Animosity-to turn a horde of 2/2s into lethal beats. Combat Celebrant provides a rare burst of extra combat, while Blade Historian treats double strike as a near-field wipe. A remarkably deep protection layer in Grand Abolisher, Voice of Victory, Fierce Guardianship, Flawless Maneuver, Clever Concealment, Akroma's Will and friends keeps the final swing intact. Secondary damage wins include Combat Celebrant, hasty token surges from Forth Eorlingas!, and double-strike finishers, while a minor but functional recursion package in Sevinne's Reclamation and The Mountain-king's Return recovers from board wipes.
