Deck overview

Bartolomé del Presidio leads an Orzhov Aristocrats and Reanimator strategy that leverages a free, instant-speed sacrifice outlet in the command zone. The deck's primary objective is filling the graveyard through dense self-mill (such as Stitcher's Supplier, Crow of Dark Tidings, and Diresight) and low-cost ramp to reanimate or hardcast core recursion creatures like Sun Titan, Boonweaver Giant, or Angel of Indemnity. When combined with recursive auras or enchantments like Angelic Renewal and Kaya's Ghostform, Bartolomé del Presidio establishes infinite sacrifice loops. These loops trigger aristocrat drain payoffs—such as Zulaport Cutthroat, Marionette Apprentice, Bastion of Remembrance, Agent of the Iron Throne, and Ninja Teen—to eliminate the entire table in a single turn. The deck demonstrates excellent engine recovery thanks to flashback spells like Sevinne's Reclamation and Dread Return, while retaining a potent reanimation combat backup plan if commander-centric sacrifice lines are contested.
