Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Voltron and spell-duplication engine commanded by Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief. The core strategy revolves around resolving Ivy alongside low-cost non-Human creatures, then casting single-target combat Auras, mutate creatures, and +1/+1 counter spells. Because Ivy copies any spell targeting only a single other creature, every resource invested into growing a secondary threat is duplicated onto Ivy for free. The deck leverages this geometric scaling to draw massive volumes of cards through duplicate Curiosity effects while insulating its board using dual-target protection spells like Gaea's Gift. Without relying on infinite combos or fast-mana acceleration, the deck aims to overwhelm opponents through lethal flying commander damage and oversized secondary attackers by turn 8.
