Zirdas Discount Giants by user9756675

Format: Commander

Commander: Zirda, the Dawnwaker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Zirda, the Dawnwaker is both the deck's discount engine and the keystone of its only deterministic fast kill. Because Zirda reduces every non-mana activated ability by two, equipment costs become one mana and Basalt Monolith can untap for one and produce infinite colorless mana. The primary line is Zirda + Basalt Monolith, finished by Bhaal's Invoker or Staff of Domination. Backup plans are equipment voltron on Zirda or big indestructible artifact creatures with cheap equips. No hidden or double-faced commander exists; Lorehold, the Historian and Ugin, the Ineffable add card advantage but are not alternate commanders.
