Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros spellslinger and token swarm deck commanded by Monica Rambeau // Photon, Living Light. The primary strategy focuses on establishing early token producers such as Monastery Mentor, Young Pyromancer, and Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, then transforming the commander into Photon, Living Light. Once transformed, every low-cost noncreature cantrip places permanent +1/+1 counters on the entire team while providing prowess buffs and card replacement. The deck scales its board rapidly into high-damage evasive swings using cards like Crash Through, Ancestral Anger, and Boros Charm. While it foregoes proactive stax and infinite combos, it maintains strong operational resilience through efficient single-target removal, burst card advantage engines like Feather, the Redeemed and Caretaker's Talent, and instant-speed mass protection spells such as Flawless Maneuver and Dawn's Truce.
