Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Jund aristocrats and reanimator combo list helmed by Slimefoot and Squee. It leverages an efficient mana curve packed with 0–1 CMC acceleration and dense creature tutors to quickly assemble game-ending death-trigger loops. The primary win line centers on cheating Protean Hulk onto the battlefield or into the graveyard, sacrificing it to deploy a compact package of Warren Soultrader, Blood Artist, and Forsaken Miner for an instant table-wide life drain kill. Supported by proactive silence pieces like Dosan the Falling Leaf and Hexing Squelcher, the deck effectively invalidates countermagic during its winning turn. In grindier scenarios, Slimefoot and Squee functions as an uncounterable recursion engine from the graveyard, repeatedly generating Saprolings while bringing back high-impact threats. Redundant infinite loops involving Chatterfang, Squirrel General and Pitiless Plunderer or Phyrexian Altar ensure resilient alternative paths to victory against heavy interaction.
