AA Maralen by der1

Format: Commander

Commander: Maralen, Fae Ascendant

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant is the value engine of a Sultai Elf/Faerie combo deck: every Elf or Faerie ETB exiles two cards from an opponent and lets you cast one eligible spell from exile for free. The primary plan is to ramp with one-cost Elves, use Maralen for card advantage, then finish through compact combo lines: Thassa's Oracle with Demonic Consultation/Tainted Pact, Food Chain with Eternal Scourge/Misthollow Griffin feeding that Oracle, or Ashaya/Deadeye/Peregrine Drake loops converted by Finale of Devastation. No hidden commander exists and Maralen is not a required combo piece; the tutor-dense combo backbone carries the deck.
