Deck overview

This Grixis deck is a crime-triggered control deck that wins with Niv-Mizzet draw loops. The primary plan pairs Niv-Mizzet, Parun or Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind with Curiosity or Tandem Lookout to turn every draw into 1 damage and every damage into a draw, killing the table. A secondary line loops Forsaken Miner with Goblin Bombardment and Pitiless Plunderer for infinite Treasures and pings. Marchesa, Dealer of Death is a value engine, not a combo piece, filtering two cards per crime for {1}. Kess, Dissident Mage acts as a hidden commander, recasting interaction and tutors from the graveyard to rebuild and protect the Niv assembly.
