Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf-tribal deck helmed by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, built around an overwhelming Treasure-token engine. Every Dwarf ETB creates a Treasure, and Thorin pumps the team for each artifact token you control, turning a wide board of small Dwarves into a lethal swing. The deck multiplies its Treasure output through Academy Manufactor, Xorn, Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and a suite of Treasure-producing Equipment, then converts that mana into either a massive pumped board or Dragon finishers tutored by Magda. The primary win is combat damage backed by anthems like An Unexpected Party and The Arkenstone, with burst finishers in Dain of the Ancient Halls, Smaug the Magnificent, and Balin, Loremaster. Magda functions as a hidden commander - the real engine of the deck - tutoring out Goldspan Dragon, Ancient Copper Dragon, or Smaug to close games.
