Deck overview

This deck is a classic Dimir Zombie Tribal and Midrange Reanimator strategy commanded by The Scarab God. The game plan revolves around deploying cost-effective Zombies and mana rocks in the early game, curving into The Scarab God by Turn 5. Once assembled, the deck leverages tribal synergy to generate extensive token armies, drawing cards through aristocrat engines like Undead Augur and Midnight Reaper. In the mid-to-late game, the deck transitions from incremental chip damage to decisive life loss through The Scarab God's upkeep drain, mass token spells like Army of the Damned, and explosive burst plays like Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Rooftop Storm. The deck features solid natural resilience against creature destruction due to its commander's innate recursion and mass graveyard reanimation spells, though it remains vulnerable to graveyard exile and heavy artifact acceleration.
