Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mardu aggressive combat build commanded by Neriv, Heart of the Storm. The game plan focuses on utilizing creatures with myriad, mobilize, and attack triggers (such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Battle Angels of Tyr, and Zurgo, Thunder's Decree) that generate creature tokens entering the battlefield tapped and attacking. Because these tokens enter the battlefield the turn they deal damage, Neriv, Heart of the Storm doubles their combat damage output. Supported by attack doublers like Isshin, Two Heavens as One and extra combat steps, the deck transitions from an innocuous early creature curve into explosive mid-game damage spikes. While lacking competitive fast mana and instant-win combos, the deck applies severe multi-opponent pressure starting on Turn 5 and looks to eliminate the table by Turn 7.
