Deck overview

Thryx, the Sudden Storm leads a mono-blue big-mana control deck that wins through overwhelming combat damage from massive creatures and token swarms. Thryx provides uncounterable protection, flash timing, and cost reduction for your high-impact spells. In the early game, you develop mana rocks and sculpt your hand with efficient card draw. In the mid-to-late game, you stabilize the board with sweepers like Spectral Deluge and Scourge of Fleets. You close out the game by deploying game-ending threats such as Stormtide Leviathan, Inkwell Leviathan, and Spawning Kraken, or by generating armies of flying tokens with Shark Typhoon and Metallurgic Summonings.
