Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Jeskai spellslinger strategy led by Gandalf, Party Guest. It leverages dense 0–1 CMC fast mana and low-cost legendary Wizards to establish an early board presence. Once Gandalf enters the battlefield, his combat trigger casts high-impact instants and sorceries from hand for free, scaling with the number of legendary Wizards controlled. The deck converts this mana advantage into rapid card draw via Azami, Lady of Scrolls and The One Ring, then closes games around Turn 5–6 with devastating overrun effects like Akroma's Will or Insurrection, amplified by prowess-style pump effects from Balmor, Battlemage Captain and Adeliz, the Cinder Wind. A deep package of free counterspells protects the board at every critical turn.
