Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis aggro-control deck centered around Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. It integrates Villain tribal synergy with the connive mechanic, converting card filtering and discard triggers into direct life loss, large creature threats, and token swarms. The deck deploys low-cost Villains early, establishes Doctor Doom on Turn 4, and compounds board advantage via connive triggers. Payoffs like Archfiend of Ifnir lock down opposing creatures while Herald of Secret Streams and Wonder push damage through congested boards. While lacking fast mana and compact two-card combos, it maintains a resilient midrange plan through recursion and layered discard value.
